Scrimshaw originated with sailors working on whaling ships. Aaron was intrigued by this art form when we moved to Alaska and started scrimming on antler. All our scrimshaw is done by hand with a single needle. Scrimshaw is done on both antler and mammoth ivory. We mostly do custom scrimshaw orders at this time. Please contact us with your design idea.
